| Motorcycle Hall of Fame Museum | AMA motorcycle museum. East of Columbus less than 5 minutes from our house. |
| Ohio Historical Center | The Ohio Historical Society runs this museum and Ohio Village, a historically recreated town located north of downtown on 71. |
| Santa Maria | Recreation of Christopher Columbus' ship on the Scioto River in downtown Columbus. |
| Easton Town Center | The premier shopping center in Central Ohio; includes shopping, Gameworks, Funny Bone Comedy Club, and AMC movies; NE of downtown on 270. |
| Polaris Fashion Place | New upscale shopping mall; The Great Indoors is the highlight here. Off of 71, north of Columbus. |
| The Book Loft | 32 rooms of bargain books and more in historic German Village just south of downtown. |
| Franklin Park Conservatory | Conservatory and botanical gardens east of downtown Columbus. |
| Topiary Garden | Georges Seurat's famous post-impressionist painting, A Sunday On The Island Of La Grande Jatte, is created in topiary. This "landscape of a painting of a landscape" consists of 54 topiary people, eight boats, three dogs, a monkey, a cat and a real pond. The largest figure is 12' tall. Just east of downtown. |
